Thoughts On Abortion/Murder

David McPherson

We've all seen bumper stickers that speak the truth about this violent, ungodly act of murder called abortion: “It's not a choice, it's a child.” “- Pro-choice? Babies don't choose to die.” - “If it isn't a baby, then you're not pregnant.” Good thoughts!

While recently trailing a vehicle with that last statement on its bumper, I came up with another: “Pro-choice? Pro-irresponsibility!”

Why do women whine about their “right to choose.” Why do they murmur that those of us who are against abortion are “infringing upon their rights?” They DO have the right to choose - whether or not they’ll commit fornication. They CAN decide for themselves - if they will sleep with that guy or not. It is totally up to them!

No, what the abortionists advocate is not “pro-choice,” but “pro-irresponsibility.” Unwilling to accept the consequences of their actions, they want it all to just go away. Problem is, it won’t. Oh they may rid themselves of that precious life. But they cannot forget away their sin. Fact is “...we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad” (2 Cor. 5:10). My friend, murder is bad. Let's always stand against it!
