Some well intended preachers have made the statement, "If you miss heaven, you've missed it all!" That's just not accurate. Fact is if you miss heaven, you've made a direct hit on hell!
Make no mistake about it, hell is real.
Jesus prayed for His disciples, "Sanctify them by Thy truth, Thy Word is truth" (Jn. 17:17). God's Word is truth. Paul told Titus that God "cannot lie" (Tit. 1:2). This same God has clearly and repeatedly revealed the fundamental fact that hell exists. That's why Jesus warned, "I tell you my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell, yes, I say to you, fear Him!" (Lk. 12:4-5).
I believe Jesus. Don't be fooled. If you miss heaven, you're going to miss eternal life, but you're not going to miss everything. You will slam precisely into hell. Why teach that it is heaven or nothing? I don't know. The choice is yours. It's heaven or hell. Yes, Hell is real.
